Coaching for Authors & Speakers
As a member of the CLASS staff (Christian Leaders, Authors & Speakers Services) for more than 18 years, Georgia has trained thousands of beginning and established writers and speakers. Being an author and speaker herself, Georgia knows the unique challenges that communicators face personally and professionally.
“I’ve been speaking at conferences and doing fine. How could coaching help me?”
No matter what our level of expertise, there is always room for improvement. All of the greatest athletes, like Tiger Woods and Michael Phelps, have coaches to help them improve. If these people, who are at the top of their game, understand the value of coaching then we as speakers and writers should take advantage of this same kind of partnership. Coaching saves you time, energy, and money by recognizing what is holding you back, drawing out your potential and equipping you to stay focused on your goals.
“What if I need a critique on one of my recorded presentations? What kind of feedback would I receive?”
Whether you are doing a workshop or keynote presentation, you have a defined amount of time to communicate your message. All too often, the audience has to work hard to glean key thoughts and ideas. I will help you distill your message into a clear, concise, memorable presentation that audiences can recall and apply to their daily lives. I will help you tighten your message, polish your trademark presentation or put a special sparkle in your speech.
Individual coaching for Authors and Speakers:
$150.00 per 45-minute session
One-on-one coaching is uniquely designed around your individual needs. As a coach I will ask you the hard questions and as a participant you will be asked to complete questionnaires, assessments or various homework assignments before each session.
A three month plan is recommended as a minimum (but not required).
To receive a professional critique of a recorded presentation (one hour maximum), send your taped presentation to Georgia. You may send audio, video, CD, or DVD format along with a completed submission form. (Your presentation will not be returned.)
